Nanoheterostructures based on nanosized Prussian blue and its Analogues: Design, properties and applications

چکیده
Nanoheterostructures combining Prussian blue (PB) or analogues (PBA) coordination polymers with other inorganic materials onto a single nanosystem are highly challenging and rapidly emerging class of discrete hybrid multifunctional nano-objects, where chemical physical properties can act separately in synergy. They present various morphologies compositions, including diverse combinations nanosized PB(A)s metals, metal oxides, luminescent Ln3+-based fluorides Ln3+-doped nanoparticles, semiconductors, silica, carbon nanotubes, metal–organic frameworks others. Here, we an overview focusing on relevant progresses achieved this family nanomaterials, giving emphasis their topology, as well applications highlighting the role contribution nano-sized PB(A)s.
